Our walnut is sustainably sourced and milled in South Carolina. It is kiln dried in a vacuum kiln to kill bacteria and fungus and to prevent warping or cupping when placed in your home. Our products are “rustic refined” and bring a bit of the beauty of the outside world into your home. Please contact us with any questions concerning this product as we are happy to assist. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and we are committed to customer service.
To keep the board looking and performing well we recommend re-oiling with food grade mineral oil after each use. You simply wipe down with a wet soapy cloth, pat dry then allow to air dry completely (about 20 minutes), NOT DISHWASHER SAFE, then apply and food safe mineral oil enriched with beeswax or paraffin. We recommend Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil (mineral oil, coconut oil, beeswax and vitamin E).

We are a father and son team that began our business during COVID. I (Lou Ciamillo (dad)), am an emergency physician. I’ve been woodworking for over 20 years. When things were hectic during COVID, I was stressed and my son (also Lou), was relegated to remote learning for college. He found himself with time on his hands and was in the workshop whenever I returned from the hospital. He began training to be a carpenter shortly thereafter. We’ve compiled hundreds of customers and an ever expanding product line. Please be sure to check back with us soon for additional new products.
