This magnetic knife block is made from solid walnut and stainless steel. Made by our Artisans in the USA.
It features a total of 32 neodymium rare earth magnets milled into a beautiful, practically seamless, knife block. Our block sits atop two 1” diameter stainless steel rods which reach almost 2” into the block for stability. The walnut and stainless base also features non-skid rubber feet which allow for airflow under the wood and add to its stability. This very unique magnetic knife holder is as elegant in design as it is durably functioning. Perfect for the chef with a custom knife collection or to inspire the start of one. Designed to sit comfortably under your upper cabinets, this knife block is sure to be a conversation starter for your guests. The walnut is finished with all-natural Odie’s oil for a long lasting durable finish. Note: Knives pictured are not included.
This is a magnetic knife block and will not hold non-magnetic knives such as ceramic, aluminum, copper, and austenitic steels like 304 and 316 stainless steels.
No dirty or wet knives should be placed on the block. The walnut has a durable Odie’s oil finish that is hydrophobic and will last for years. The walnut surface can be refreshed from time to time with Howard Butcher Block Conditioner to renew sheen. Never place this item in the dishwasher.
